Happy Anniversary

Wow, this blog is 1 year old today. When I started this blog my plans were to have a daily blog, one where I would post a new image and talk about the image every day. Well for a long time, most of the year actually, I didn't even post once a week. It wasn't until about a month ago that I decided to start putting more time into my blog and I have since been making a new post daily. I must admit it is harder than it sounds. I have only been doing the daily thing for about a month now and I have had many days where I didn't feel like taking the time to do a post, I have been making myself and I am going to continue to for as long as I can. It truly takes a serious commitment to make yourself take the time every day to write something new. I hope those of you who have found my blog enjoy and I hope you will visit it often.



No, I didn't have Christmas cupcakes for my blog anniversary but I wanted a picture of a cake and this is the first image I thought of. I love cake, especially cupcakes. These particular cupcakes were made for the Christmas concert at my church. I saw them sitting on the table and I just had to get a shot of them. The one to the left of the image with the red and green sprinkles is the one that I ate, it was delicious. I wanted to have a great subject to talk about for the 100th anniversary of my blog but I just realized Saturday that today was the anniversary date. So I didn't have much time to think about a grand topic. So my 1 year anniversary is just going to be a boring post saying Happy Anniversary to myself.
