O.K., I know that I have already left my Christmas theme and it only started recently but hey, I'm excited, I was finally able to order my new camera gear.
If you haven't heard the story yet, it started about 3 months ago while we were in Florida to pick up Anne-Lise. While we were in Wal-Mart getting the things we needed for the drive home, some blankity blank busted out the window of our van and stole my camera. I was finally able to order my new gear to replace all of the things that were stolen. I should have my new camera gear by the end of the week. Anyway I just wanted to share this with anyone who may be reading my blog. Now let me get to the stuff that everyone wants to read. As you can see these images are not Christmas related but since I strayed from my theme already I thought I would stay away altogether for this blog. These images are from a trip my friend Earl and I took to Cuyahoga Valley National Park, the only National Park in Ohio. Ohio does however have other National Sites you can see a list of all of the National sites and Parks in Ohio by going to http://www.nps.gov/. It was a small park but it was very pretty. We only had a weekend so we didn't have a lot of time to really see all of the park. I said it was a small park but I am comparing it to Yellowstone or Yosemite, so it really isn't that small. I would love to go back sometime and spend about 4 or 5 days trekking
through the park and seeing as much as I can. We didn't really get too far off of the beaten path as we were only there for 2 days and we wanted to see as many of the park highlights as possible. I think if I ever get to go back I will try to get deeper into the park and see what I can find. I don't know that I will get back there anytime soon as I hope to be in California in 2 or 3 years. I am planning to try and see as many of the things on the Eastern side of the U.S. as I can over the next 2 or 3 years. Since I have been to Cuyahoga Valley it is low on my priority list. I hope you enjoy the images.
