Peacock Blue
I love this image of a blue peacock. I took this photo at the Cincinnati Zoo a while ago. I love the way the blacktop creates a soft gray background behind the blue of the peacock. Since I am stuck living in Ohio for the time being, I have to get most of my wildlife images in Zoos. Some of my better wildlife images were taken in the Cincinnati Zoo. Earlier this week I did another blog about a park in Ohio called The Wilds of Ohio, this is by far my favorite place to shoot wildlife images. It isn't your typical zoo but it falls into the zoo category. It is most likely the closest I will ever get to an African Safari. It is affiliated with the Columbus Zoo which is probably my favorite zoo in Ohio. I have only been to the Cleveland Zoo one time and I enjoyed it but it is to far away to see on a regular basis. I have never had an opportunity to visit the Toledo Zoo but I hope to sometime before we move to California. My birthday is coming up next month and the only thing I am asking for is a Family Pass to the Columbus Zoo. If you would like more information on the Zoos I have mentioned just click on the name of the zoo and it will take you to the official zoo web site. If you would like to donate money toward a family pass for my birthday gift, just click on the comment section at the end of this post and let me know. I will gladly tell you where to mail a check, lol!

Wow, that's beautiful. It's so bright it doesn't even look real.
ReplyDeleteHi Gary,
ReplyDeleteThis is me Sharath, again. I can see you are definitely an impressive photographer. Your pictures are gold, albeit I'm not a photography expert.
I actually wanted to thank you for your compliment about my article. I am not sure you noticed, but I am a sophomore in high school. Unlike my friends, who network on facebook and myspace, I like to express my view of the world. I actually have strong ideas about the future of the Mid-East and of American agendas around the world. As much as I love this country, I believe that we are a bully to the world. But, seriously, I can't tell you how much your comment meant to me. I want to eventually work for the state department. Anyway, tell your friend to read it and tell him to contact me.
Thank you very much,
Sharath Patil
Jennifer,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the comments about my images. I appreciate them very much.
