Association of Christian Photographers or ACP for short, was an attempt by myself and a few of my friends to start an organized group of christian photographers. It started out well but never really got off of the ground. I was the brainchild behind the group but I nor did any of the others have the time or the necessary knowledge in order to truly get the organization going. The image above is from one of our early meetings, we typically would hold our meetings as a group without our families. This was our first meeting where we decided to have a family time, so we had a picnic and had a time of fellowship. One of our major goals with this association was to foster a family atmosphere, one where we could have fun and yet our time and conversations would be dominated with the topic of photography. ACP was a lofty goal and the outcome was not what I had hoped for. I still would like to see some kind of group of christian photographers become united but I don't think it will be in the way that I have tried in the past. The above image is of my good friend Todd and his family. I miss being able to see him if I want to, but the funny thing is, now that he has moved away I actually talk with him more than when he lived here. If you are reading this and you know of an association or group of christian photographers, please let me know, I would like to check them out.
