I used this image in my other blog http://xeniadailyphoto.blogspot.com/ yesterday it was taken during the National Day of Prayer Rally at the Legacy Center in Xenia. These students are from Xenia Christian High School, I love the emotion of the moment that is visible on the face of the students as they pray and sing praises to God. Xenia Christian has a homecoming banquet every year and a few years ago their photographer pulled a no show on them. At the last minute one of the students suggested they call me and see if I would be able to come and take the pictures. I said sure what time do you need me to be there, they responded by telling me that the photos were to have started a half hour ago and that as soon as I could get there would be great. I happened to be in just 2 minutes down the road but my gear was 15 minutes away one way. Long story short, I went and took the images and in a way saved the day for them as a result they awarded me the opportunity to shoot all of the homecoming events in the future. I will be shooting a week from tonight for this years homecoming and I am looking forward to it.
