When I went to bed last night I was expecting to wake up to a mess. The news had reported that we were going to get an inch of ice and then about 2 to 4 inches of snow. When I looked out the window I only saw a small amount of snow, there was quite a bit of ice on the trees but no way near an inch. Later that day I was sitting in my chair looking at my iStock site to see how my images were doing when my son said that I should go out and take pictures of the ice on the trees. From his window it was quite pretty to see, from the ground floor it wasn't so impressive. What I did notice that made we want to go out and shoot was the fog. It was a fairly warm day and as the snow and ice melted it became quite foggy. I love shooting in the fog but I hae never been able to reproduce the images that I see with my eys through my camera. I decided that I would go out and shoot and while I was out I decided to practice doing a panoramic again. The fog and the overcast light doesn't make for a colorful image but I was only doing this for practice. I thought I would show it to you tonight so here it is.
