While I was in Lyon, France I had an opportunity to visit Basilique Notre-Dame-de-Fourvière. It was massive and beautiful, it sits on top of a hill overlooking the city of Lyon and can be seen from any part of Lyon that offers a view. When we were there they were having services so we had to be very quiet, we were also told that taking pictures was prohibited so I had to be very covert while shooting. One of the things that I was continually attracted to when I visited the different Catholic churches was the candles. Lit and unlit candles were everywhere you looked, it was quite beautiful. I really liked these candles the colorful jars stood out to me, I don't know if it is because they are the color of our flag or if it just because I love these 3 colors together. Regardless of why, I really liked this particular candle arrangement. Thanks for looking at my blog today.
